On November 15, a special seminar on "Key Technology Research and Product Development of Integrated Seawater Desalination Pumps and Energy Recovery Units" (2017YFC0404200), which is a key project of National Key R&D Program “Efficient development and utilization of water resources”, was successfully held at Research Center of Fluid Machinery Engineering and Technology, Jiangsu University. The seminar was chaired by Prof. Zhang Desheng.

He introduced the pleasing achievements of Jiangsu University in discipline construction, scientific research, talent training, and internationalization in recent years. And he hoped to strengthen cooperation with the Institute of Seawater Desalination(Tianjin) of Ministry of Natural Resources. In the field of national seawater desalination equipment, the alliance is strong and strong, serving the country's major strategic needs. Prof. Zhang Desheng and Director Wang Shenghui reported the general situation of the fluid center and Institute of Seawater Desalination(Tianjin) respectively.
